Esta vez no me basé en un personaje específico; quise experimentar un poco después de ver tantas imágenes de ojos increíbles en Pinterest. Me dije: "¡Vale, voy a intentarlo!". También quise practicar las lágrimas, que sinceramente son súper complicadas y nunca he terminado de entender bien cómo lograrlas, así que me puse a prueba con algo fuera de mi zona de confort. 🎨✨
Hello, friends! How are you all doing? 👋 I'm back again with a new drawing for this week. This time, I didn't base it on a specific character; I just wanted to try something new after seeing so many amazing eye references on Pinterest. I thought, "Okay, let's do this!" I also wanted to practice drawing tears again, which honestly is quite tricky and something I’ve never fully mastered. It was all about stepping out of my comfort zone! 🎨✨
El concepto es sencillo pero profundo: un ojo mirando hacia arriba con un brillo de esperanza. Se puede ver la mano de una figura femenina extendiéndose hacia él, representando a una madre, una pareja o alguien muy especial. Las lágrimas simbolizan esa desesperación de querer ver a esa persona o el sentimiento intenso que nos invade al recordarla cuando ya no está. 情感
The idea is simple yet deep: an eye looking upward with a sense of hope. You can see a female hand reaching out, representing a mother, a partner, or someone very important to us. The tears represent the desperation of seeing that person or the raw emotion of remembering them when they are gone. 情感
Empecé rápido con el lineart. Tomé la imagen de una persona y la expandí al máximo para enfocarme solo en el ojo y un poco de piel. Tracé las líneas, adapté el ojo a mi estilo dándole más detalle y, la verdad, esa parte fluyó bastante rápido.
I started quickly with the lineart. I took a reference photo and zoomed in as much as possible to focus strictly on the eye and a bit of skin. I drew the lines, tweaked the eye to fit my personal style, and added extra details. It was a surprisingly fast process!
Luego pasé al color. Me decidí por una piel morena, usando como referencia a un personaje del antiguo Egipto que tenía guardado. Para el cabello, no quería el tradicional marrón, así que me arriesgué con un morado clarito que combinara bien. 💜 También pinté las cejas y pestañas de ese tono para que no pareciera una persona albina, y le añadí un delineado en azul cielo que me encantó cómo quedó. ¡Se ve genial! ☁️💙
Then came the coloring. I chose a darker, warmer skin tone, using an ancient Egyptian character reference I had. For the hair, I wanted a color that stood out—not just the traditional brown—so I went with a light purple. 💜 I also matched the eyebrows and lashes so it wouldn't look like an albino character, and added a sky blue eyeliner that I absolutely love. It looks so cool! ☁️💙
Para terminar, me enfoqué en la pupila para darle mucha vida. Con las lágrimas, seguí de cerca mi imagen de referencia y logré este resultado. Apliqué una capa en modo multiplicar para crear una entrada de luz suave en las mejillas y, finalmente, añadí los brillos que le dieron el toque maestro.
To wrap it up, I added more detail to the pupil to make it pop. Regarding the tears, I followed my reference closely to get them just right. I used a multiply layer to add a soft light hitting the cheeks, and finally, added the highlights that brought everything to life.
Fue una gran prueba para mí y quedé muy contento con el resultado. ¡Espero repetir este ejercicio pronto y darle aún más detalle para que sea tan impresionante como esos ojos que veo en internet! Espero que les guste mucho. 😊🙌
