Under the Lights of Pandora! 🌌 Drawing a Nighttime Ikran 🎨✨

¡Hola, amigos! 👋 Aquí de nuevo su gran amigo EMJA con un nuevo dibujo inspirado en el asombroso universo de Avatar 🌍💙. En esta ocasión, quise retratar a una de mis criaturas favoritas: el Ikran (Banshee de montaña) 🦅. Siempre me han parecido alucinantes, ¡y es increíble lo bien que se siguen viendo desde que salió la primera película! 🎬🔥

Hello, friends! 👋 Your good friend EMJA is back with a new drawing inspired by the breathtaking world of Avatar 🌍💙. This time, I wanted to capture one of my favorite creatures: the Ikran (Mountain Banshee) 🦅. I’ve always thought they were cool, and it’s amazing how great they still look since the first movie came out! 🎬🔥

Mi inspiración: Hace poco comencé a ver las películas con mi pareja 👩❤️👨 y me pareció la idea perfecta intentar dibujar a esta criatura. Fue todo un proceso, pero tenía el reto personal de ambientarlo en un entorno nocturno, ¡que para mí es la parte más mágica de Pandora! ✨🌙

My Inspiration: I recently started rewatching the movies with my partner 👩❤️👨 and I thought it was the perfect time to draw this creature. It was quite a journey, but I really wanted to try setting it in a nighttime environment, which is the most magical part of that world to me! ✨🌙

• Boceto y Lineart: Usé referencias para captar sus gestos y forma. Al principio me recordaba a otras películas, ¡pero tras insistir un poco logré el resultado que buscaba y pulí las líneas para ustedes! ✏️

• Sketch and Lineart: I used reference images to get the gestures and shape right. At first, it reminded me of other movies, but after a while, I got it just right and polished the lines for this final look! ✏️

• Color: Decidí usar tonalidades azules puras 💙. Aunque intenté combinar verdes, sentí que el azul capturaba mejor la esencia. Me enfoqué mucho en los detalles: dientes, lengua, manchas y texturas 🦷👅.

• Coloring: I went with pure blue tones 💙. Even though I tried some greens, I felt the blue looked best. I spent a lot of time refining the teeth, mouth, tongue, and spots 🦷👅.

• El Fondo: ¡Fue el mayor reto! 🌲 Me inspiré en animales cazando y decidí situarlo en un bosque bioluminiscente. Jugué con luces y sombras para darle ese toque brillante y final 🌟.

• The Background: This was the toughest part! 🌲 I looked at animals hunting for inspiration and decided to place it in one of those cool bioluminescent forests. After experimenting with bright colors, I added layers of highlights and shadows for the final touch 🌟.
