Hello Friends of esteemit! it's been a while since I published something here. so I've decided to return with a series of animal illustrations as part of my drawing and color studies focused on a search for a personal language through this super useful visual communication medium, as illustration is.
This time I have been willing to illustrate the dolphin. They are a family of cetaceans, this means that they are placental mammals completely adapted to the aquatic life, up to where it is known they include an extensive family of 34 species, they can get to measure of 2 to 9 meters according to the species and sex. Their body is fusiform with a head of great size, the elongated snout and only a spiracle in the superior part of the head to breathe, its diet is mainly carnivorous.
These smiling-faced friends are among the most intelligent animals on the planet. They live near the coast and are easy to interact with humans. Like other cetaceans, dolphins use sound, dance and jumping to communicate, orientate themselves and reach their prey. They also use eco-location, which consists of orienting themselves especially through the sounds and echoes of their surroundings. Today the greatest threat to which they are exposed is of an anthropic nature, the impact of human activities on the environment.
a little bit of the process.
well friends this was my delivery today, I hope to be able to continue sharing with you soon. Thanks for your attention!
