I am sorry to hear about your wife. It's really hard to carry on and takes a long time to pull it all together. At least it did for me when my husband died in 2020. It wasn't until last year I finally had gotten back some semblance of regular life.

Good you persevered with the kids. It might just be a memory they carry going forward...
