Whenever I have no one to draw, I draw any person that comes to my mind and this time this girl came to my head, I don´t think I ever met her or saw her but she is the one that came to life in the paper, lets call her Emily.
First draft of the drawing, a very sketchy first draft but enough to see the depth of her eyes and the position of her nose.
Vertical hatch in the parts of the shadows, at first I thought of leaving it like this as the finished drawing but then I wanted a bit more details so I went for the fading ans better shading.
Complete portrait drawing, fully faded and shading, drew the right side of her hair a bit darker to give the effect of the light coming from the left side, I hope you all like it.
