Hoy les presentaré uno de mis trabajos (que más me ha gustado hacer), para la evaluación final debíamos escoger una fotografía de alguna arquitectura y dibujarla al doble de su tamaño, escalando la imagen con minuciosa medición. la arquitectura tradicional japonésa y oriental me ha parecido llamativa siempre, así que decidí hacer un templo japonés para esta evaluación final de la universidad, Este trabajo fue el que me hizo aprobar la clase de "dibujo analítico 2" que había reprobado dos veces (la profesora era sumamente exigente), así que lo guardo con mucho cariño.

Utilicé todos los conocimientos que poseo de dibujo para poder tener el mejor resultado posible. Tomé muchas mediciones para que quedara todo cuadrado y proporcionado, la imagen original tiene cierta inclinación y eso me lo dificultó un poco ya que para esa evaluación había que duplicar y escalar el tamaño, debía quedar lo más parecido posible a la imagen original usada como referencia solo usando mediciones y con las inclinaciones y los ángulos siempre habían problemas.
I used all the knowledge I have of drawing to have the best possible result. I took many measurements so that everything was square and proportionate, the original image has a certain inclination and that made it a bit difficult for me because for that evaluation it was necessary to double and scale the size, it should be as similar as possible to the original image used as a reference just using measurements and with slopes and angles there were always problems.
Se supone que debía entregar el dibujo dos semanas después de comenzarlo y hacerlo en el aula (cosa difícil ya que solo veíamos esa clase 2 horas a la semana y si a la profesora no le gustaba como iba quedando arrancaba la hoja y lo mandaba a repetir), pero por complicaciones nos dieron dos días para entregarlo y había que hacerlo en casa, además era el final del semestre y tenía un montón de trabajos más, casi quedo calvo por el estrés, tuve que repetirlo dos veces a medio camino porque por malos cálculos siempre quedaba mal cuadrada la imagen.

Usé lápices marca Faber-castell:
- HB y un mongol (nro2) para el boceto
- B2, B4 y B8 y carboncillo para las sombras y detalles
- algunas reglas curvas y mi regla de 60cm
- el difuminado lo hice con una mota de algodón y mi propia mano (nada recomendable si te tiembla el pulso).
I used Faber-castell brand pencils:
- HB and a Mongol (# 2) for the sketch
- B2, B4 and B8 and charcoal for shadows and details
- some curved rulers and my 60cm ruler
- I made the blur with a cotton speck and my own hand (not recommended if your pulse trembles).
