Beeple
You all know who is BEEPLE, still I will make and introduction sharing that he is the artist sold his NFT "Everydays: the First 5000 Days" for the mind-blowing sum of $69,346,250. The minted piece is a digital collage of 5000 images, drawn by Beeple everyday from May 1 2007.
We had a drawing evening and decided to draw portrait of Beeple.
I found a nice screenshot from his interview by Motion Plus Design and we started drawing, each of us using his own tools.

Poly had her pencils and paper, razor sharp eyes and skills.
I am still amazed how this work. I actually tried drawing with her, used ruler, made all proportions right, it looked like a face, but had nothing in common, except the glasses...

After failing with pencils I tried the digital version of tracing paper.
I opened my lovely and light Figma. Took the screenshot and started tracing the face parts.
It started like this:
and... I found it boring... and decided to trace and draw over the darker areas on his face.
After some color choosing and line refining I got something I am really happy with:

At the end of the day, I played again with different fitters in photoshop over Beeple's screenshot. Just for fun and to see what happens.

We liked how things started, maybe we will work more and progress on these drawings. I am thinking for more movement and animation. Will be happy If someone share some ideas.
