So I my church informed me that we are having harvest, so am expected to make a social media flyer for the program. Although it's been awhile I did a design due to the fact that I don't normally have chance.
So when I got back today after a stressful day. I decided to visit my Corel draw software to see what I can do ad I was amaze by the final process.
Below is the Brochure Design for the Harvest program we are having in our church this Christmas on 17th.
So first of all given the logo that I will be using for the job (logo below)
After I was given the log, I was also given Write up which includes the venue of the program, date, theme, time and officiating pastors for program.
So the first thing I did was to open my Corel draw Version 16. I love this version cos the interface is very simple to understand.
I created 100mm by 100mm page for the design. And placed the logo and name of the church at the top left corner of the brochure , I used Arial bold for the fonts and the draw a circle at the top right corner of the brochure and added orange and yellow color to the circle, after that I used blending tool to blend the two colors together. I type in the name of the event with "Times new Roman" font style and added a rectangular box below with green color.
I downloaded a Basket full with fruits and added at the right end of the brochure. I placed it in between the white and green background and added shadow at the bottom to make it look real.
I created two rectangle boxs blow with light green and deep green for the "Theme of the event"
I downloaded a white that's looks like clothes to added to the white background of the brochure.
I adjusted the green background and added the Date and venue of the events. And below is the names of the officiating pastors and Apostles for the events.
This is the colors I used for the Design. And to the final process, I group the design to make it's background. I converted it to bitmap and make it blur for the background.
