WORD SYMBOLS - Drop YOURS!

I have always LOVED symbolism in ALL FORMS! I love the mystery of it all and from a design stand point, I love the dramatic impact it makes. Perhaps this comes from a career in graphic design, perhaps it is a personal thing or maybe it is simply a mixture of the two combined. Either way – lately, I have been contemplating symbolism creation from people’s names – well, that was where the thought started… but it grew from there toward “words in general”.

We all have words which resonate with us on a personal level – much like the names of people or places do as well… but we don’t necessarily want to “sport them” just like that - especially if it is something personal or emotionally connected. That is where symbolism comes in and is one of the reasons I love it so much! It has a natural “attention grabbing” ability, without actually “spelling it out” – if you catch my drift.

I am contemplating doing this sort of thing on a customised basis. The designs could literally be for ANY “thing” and for ANY word! So, perhaps you want to create an NFT or maybe just design a symbol which will end up becoming a tattoo… maybe it is just something you would like to have printed on a t-shirt or mug as a gift… I am looking at putting down a flat fee (in Hive) for the symbol design itself. Customisation and editing of said design would obviously be done until you are happy with it… at which point, I would supply it to you in whatever format required… and can then do with it as you so wish.

In this post, I have done a VERY BASIC example, without colour – simply “black on white” illustration… using MY name “jaynie”… to give you an idea of what I am referring to by creating a symbol like graphic out of a word – obviously, each one being unique and tailored to specific tastes.
