Hello everyone, I know I'm a little late because ..., The day of the dead has passed, but it is never too late to draw. So today I bring you a drawing of a catrina, which I hope you like.
Materials
Process
The first thing I did was to draw the sketch of the catrina with the skull, without many details.
After giving a little more emphasis to the sketch, adding a flower in the hair and its respective makeup, I started to outline the whole drawing.
After outlining the drawing completely, what I did was, with an HB pencil and a 6B graphite, to blur the drawing to give it the shadows and lights. Then I colored some parts of the catrina, next to the skull, to make the figure stand out more. As you can see, I focused on coloring his face, accessories and part of his upper garment, and of course, some of the skull, too. I used bright colors, like the ones I see in this Mexican celebration. Oh, and the concealer served to give a touch to the skull's basins :D
