Hello! I made this self portrait to try oil paint on paper for the first time and I really liked the result. I found that oil paint is not as glossy on paper as it is on canvas. The ink blends nicely onto the paper. I used a harder brush to blend the colors and create a gradient. I'm also trying to draw facial expressions, as I don't usually do that.
I love to see the process and how the drawing creates shape and depth with the painting.
