I thought I would see what the AI art program I use would do this the name of a city, plus a few added prompts, to see what it would come up with. I was pleased with the results.
I have been to Bruges in Belgium a number of years ago to visit one of their Christmas markets. So I have some idea of what the buildings in Bruges look like. The city is crisscrossed with canals, which as you can see from the first picture, the AI knew to include.
I thought I would ask the AI program to create a picture of Bruges in the rain. It came up with the following picture of a group of people walking down a street in the rain.
I then asked it to create a picture of Bruges Market.
Finally I asked it to create some pictures of the Christmas Market in Bruges.
I am pretty sure that known of these places exist in Bruges but its buildings and canals look a lot like the AI's interpretation of what it looks like. I am constantly amazed at what AI can produce. Is this Bruges? Probably not, but I think it's a good imitation.
