Dear HiveBeez,
you know I'm a maniac souldoodler and mandala creator. I developed a method and named it SoulDoodle, that promises to be much more powerful than for example zentangle.
In zentangle, pre-planned samples are copied by hand and a pre-divided surface is filled with them as a "horror vacui" decoration. That's OK, so beautiful and that's a great fun, but nothing more. I did exactly the same as a child and I find it ridiculous that I couldn’t teach it without a license.
SoulDoodle is not a pleasant pastime, but a serious mental and spiritual work for ourselves.
We do'nt use prefabricated templates, but discover the new building blocks from which we build ourselves. We do not depict the outside world, but project our inner world on paper. Sometimes these are ugly and scary worlds and it’s hard to face them.
This small sized picture, depicting imaginary mandala-shaped gardens in top view, was created yesterday. I started painting at 9:00 am and finished late at night, while I simultaneously attended on an online course. These two complemented each other perfectly.
Mixed media, I used aniline, Japanese ink, acrylic paint, fibre and gel pens.
I'm not normal! I'm a Humanoid!
With lots of love from Kalemandra
