Hello! My name is Hira Karmachela aka BABE ODED. In this post I will share my 2nd NFT artwork for the #NoLepArt series. I created this work by combining several techniques, namely pixel art, photo manipulation, and digital painting. And in the end, I packed this work into a looping animation.
My theme in this work is #retrowave. Retro is a design style that is trending in the 70s to 90s. Retro is different from the vintage style that has been known for a long time. Retro style has a contemporary and even futuristic impression on its era. The unique characteristic of retro can be seen from the selection of more sparkling colors, also known as neon colors. Retro design styles developed during the era along with the rise of the disco, party and sporty lifestyle. In the same era, video games were developed with low-resolution graphics, which is now known as pixel art.
There are several marketplaces for NFT that are growing very fast this year. I try to choose a market that suits my art style. For this NFT work I chose to mint it at Hic et Nunc .
