For today, I am offering you a Digital Painting in Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.
In this work, I decided to capture a trio of musicians with different wind instruments: the Trombone, the Euphonium, and the French Horn.
I started from an evocation of when I was a child and a teenager. In the city of San Cristobal, Tachira State, Venezuela, the famous San Sebastian International Fair was held in January.
Throughout the month large parties and parades of floats and visiting musical bands from many countries were held on the main avenues of the city.
Among them, the Purdue University Band from the USA comes to mind, which had more than a hundred musicians and beautiful dancers.
What attracted me the most was their music, current songs beautifully performed by that large group of artists.
But what most captivated me was the rhythm of the ocean of drums, followed by a river of wind instruments of all kinds.
It was majestic to see and hear those cadences so well intoned by that large group of people, dressed in uniforms of vibrant and cheerful colors.
It was a big party. Something that we expected throughout the year.

Here is the sequence of images demonstrating the “Step by Step” process of creating my Digital Painting of a Concert of Wind Instruments.
To carry out this work, I started from a sketch I made in Photoshop and painted it with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphics Tablet.
This job took me seven (7) hours to complete.

Para hoy, les ofrezco una Pintura Digital en Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.
En esta obra decidí plasmar un trío de músicos con distintos instrumentos de viento: el Trombón, el Bombardino y el Corno francés.
Partí de una evocación de cuando era niña y adolescente. En la ciudad de San Cristóbal, Estado Táchira, Venezuela, se celebraba en enero la famosa Feria Internacional de San Sebastián.
Durante todo el mes se realizaban grandes fiestas y desfiles de carrozas y bandas musicales, visitantes de muchos países, en las avenidas principales de la ciudad.
Entre ellas, viene a mi memoria la Banda de la Universidad de Purdue procedente de EEUU, la cual contaba con más de cien músicos y hermosas bailarinas.
Lo que más me atraía era su música, canciones de actualidad bellamente interpretadas por ese nutrido grupo de artistas.
Pero lo que más me cautivaba era el ritmo del océano de tambores, seguidos por un río de instrumentos de viento de todo tipo.
Era majestuoso ver y escuchar aquellas cadencias tan bien entonados por ese grupo numeroso de personas, trajeadas con uniformes de colores vibrantes y alegres.
Era la gran fiesta. Algo que esperábamos durante todo el año.
Lindo recuerdo.
A continuación, exhibo la secuencia de imágenes que demuestra el proceso “Paso a Paso”, de la creación de mi Pintura Digital de un Concierto de Instrumentos de Viento.
Para realizar este trabajo, partí de un boceto que hice en Photoshop y lo pinté con mi Tableta Gráfica Star 03 V2 XP-PEN.
Efectuar este trabajo me tomó siete (7) horas.
