Moon Raccoon - Hahnemühle Mixed Media paper for watercolor, gouache, acrylic 310 g/m² 10x10 cm, Sonnet watercolors, white tempera, white acrylic color, Pigma Micron 01
Raccoons are the cutest! Always up to something mischievous, constantly moving, their curiosity is off the charts, and even when they make a mess it is hard to get angry at them as one look at their little faces can create cuteness overload and melt your heart into a puddle in a split second. I have never seen them in real life, but sometimes when I feel a bit down I watch raccoon videos as they seem to cheer me up somehow. I was quite happy to work on this tiny raccoon painting as I’ve been wanting to paint one for a while now and to combine it with the moon was so fun! I enjoy this process and the randomness element of it.
Nine more creatures remain to be discovered. If you have not read the previous post, there are two numbered lists containing different animals and things. You help me choose the numbers and we see what completely random creatures I have to make as a result!
Numbers remaining for animals: 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
Numbers remaining for things: 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Write your two numbers from each list in the comment section below and let’s see what creature will follow the footsteps of Robot Moose and Moon Raccoon! I will pick the winner at random from all the participants ^^
