After a long time of making a figure drawing, I thought it would be nice to practice it again.
Using my favorite sketching style, I drew a young man sitting on a ground with his thie while resting his right hand on a foam. Something has caught his attention - his eyes are fixed on it.
The piece also depicts a light and shadow effect where there are more tones on the areas with few light.
The drawing was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application on a Note 10+ device. See my steps below:
Firstly, I made a lighter outline sketch
After being certain of the outline, I blocked in and made few adjustments
Then I proceeded with shadings using scribbles. My focus was on the darker portions
I continued the process here
I made some final touches and got my result
