I've still been experimenting with making some realistic natural environments. This time around I wanted to do a close up shot. A little over a week ago I posted this image.
Where I was building out an asset library so that I could have a bit more of a drag and drop workflow and could focus a bit more on the creative instead of all the technical drudgery of building materials, and shaders and focus on just composing scenes. When I have a bit more free time I want to do something a bit more creative, but usually what I'm making here is "after work" type quick pieces.
I played around with a couple different lighting setups as well. My favorite renderer Octane just updated the procedural sky object to something apparently more photoreal. I think it works pretty well. I thought it would also be cool to see what this looks like zoomed out.
Fun stuff. That's my offering to the blockchain for today. If you're an art lover or artist yourself stop by #steemartstation and give it a follow. I might change the name soon so maybe it's good there aren't that many posts yet but I'll be sure to let peeps know when/if I do. Thanks for looking!
