Sup Hivers. My journey continues as I try to be an NFT rockstar with something new. When I look at all the work being created in the NFT space, I think to myself, what can I do that people AREN'T doing. There's a ton of slick ass 3D shit, which I love, and can do, but it runs the risk of just blending in with the herd, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to stand apart and do things that are a bit different and going against the grain. That brings me to my latest series.
Basically I took a bunch of sketches and threw them on a huge digital canvas and did my best to make it all look cool. After I was done, it was so many sketches I thought it was a waste to only create one piece from all those sketches so I decided to cut the canvas into quadrants to make 4 tiles and then I'll also mint the final single image with all 4 tiles combined for a total of 5 pieces.
At one point or another most of these sketches have been posted on Steem/Hive over the years, but here I wanted to make them all into one image that I'd imagine would take a long time to view and process. There's a ton of stories and concepts within this image. It's the mental equivalent of looking through a photo album in that all these sketches remind me of what I was doing in that time in my life. What I was feeling, what was going on, all that good stuff. It's nostalgic for me, but I think to an outsider it would be interesting because it just creates a lot of interesting variety.
Anyhoo, you can check out the piece on Makersplace here
