Last week I was busy with the exhibition and then my wife fell sick, with the 16 month old running around all what I saw was her diapers.
So after about 14 days I managed to find some time to paint.
I wanted to paint synagogue which I visited during the exhibition. It was just 200 meters from our gallery. I had taken some pics for reference, but there was no sun in it.
Reference:
I could paint only in an hour break when the kid is sleeping.. so had to be quick.
So started without a sketch, and that too for an architectural drawing. I just had to believe in my skills.. and this was more meant to break the painting draught.
I managed to finish this off quickly but then something was missing in it.. I left it for the day and came back and looked at it.
The shadows were missing on the walls on right and then it could have been darker on the left. So made the changes and this is it for now. The synagogue is on a narrower street, have to paint it better next time with a proper sketch
