New scarf made on silk. I usually take a transparent, white material for scarves and I make sure it's soft so that they don't get in the way when they're on the neck and they don't pick at it. I also look to use a material that does not wrinkle or is easy to iron so that the scarf does not look wrinkled even after ironing. Today I made a scarf in orange color, with flower motifs with the addition of a little silver and green.
As for the drawing technique, even today I spilled the paint while holding the hair dryer in the other hand so that the spillage would not get out of control. After each drawing I dry the scarf, then after drying I iron it so that the color is fixed, then I wash it in cold water with vinegar and a little salt to finally dry it and iron it. Bellow are the steps of my work so you can see the process and the end result in the pictures.
