Hoy he venido a mostrarles esta nueva ilustración que hice usando Photoshop y Paintool sai, a pesar de su obvio estilo caricaturesco, técnicamente es mi primer autorretrato digital, ¡y tenía emoción por compartirlo!

Today I've come to show you this new illustration I made using Photoshop and Paintool sai, despite its obvious cartoonish style, technically it's my first digital self-portrait, and I was excited to share it!
Del boceto a las líneas digitales
Ya que no me siento en confianza de dibujar cosas complejas, directamente con el ratón, atravieso el proceso de realizar bocetos en papel, con el objetivo de fotografiarlos después delinearlos en Paintool sai, donde puedo acomodar cosas del trazado, el grosor de las líneas para exagerarlo a mi gusto, pueden ver como después de tan descuidado boceto que solo servía de guía, ¡el contorno del dibujo digital quedo más limpio!, También deje unas lineas delgadas que me servirían de guía para el coloreado ya cuando lo pase a Photoshop. .
From sketch to digital lines
Since I do not feel confident to draw complex things, directly with the mouse, I go through the process of making sketches on paper, with the aim of photographing them after outlining them in Paintool sai, where I can accommodate things of the layout, the thickness of the lines to exaggerate it to my liking, you can see how after such a careless sketch that only served as a guide, the outline of the digital drawing was cleaner! I also left some thin lines that would serve me as a guide for the coloring when I passed it to Photoshop.
Color
Ya en Photoshop lo primero que ataque fue el fondo, con un pincel suave y unos colores turquesa pasteles.
Ya más o menos tenía planeada una paleta de colores que rodeara los azules, así que fui modificándolos con capas de curvas para no mezclar otro color.
Color
Already in Photoshop the first thing I attacked was the background, with a soft brush and some pastel turquoise colors.
I had more or less planned a palette of colors that surrounded the blues, so I was modifying them nwith layers of curves to not mix another color.
Podrán ver que además de desenfocar el fondo, para la piel agregue unas sombras más marcadas estilo comic, principalmente porque tenía afán de hacerlo así, ya que me gusta mucho y son de mis principales referentes al dibujar o pintar. además que la luz directa del personaje la definí principalmente por la izquierda de este.
You will be able to see that besides blurring the background, for the skin I added some more marked comic style shadows, mainly because I wanted to do it this way, since I like it very much and they are my main references when drawing or painting. Also, the direct light of the character was defined mainly by the left side of the character.
In the end I treated the image with a cocktail of color and blur modifications and even noise to try to give it a punch that separates it from the background and marry all the colors within the image.
