Painting Album Covers on Old CDs | Paramore

I had this idea for a long time, but I don't know why I hadn't done it. I had thought of doing this idea, not on old CDs, but on some wall in my room. Since I had said that when I painted my room, which I did, I was going to paint all my favorite albums on some wall. But I had all these old CDs, that I didn't want to throw away and that's when it came to my mind to paint the album covers on these CDs.

Tenia esta idea desde hace muchísimo tiempo, pero no se por que no la había hecho. Había pensado hacer esta idea, no en CDs viejos, sino en alguna pared de mi cuarto. Ya que había dicho que cuando pintara mi cuarto, que lo hice, iba a pintar todos mis álbumes favoritos en alguna pared. Pero tenia todos estos CDs viejos, que no quería botar y fue cuando se me vino a la mente pintar las portadas de los álbumes en estos CDs.

It was with this album that I became a true fan of the band. I remember that I would spend hours in my room listening to this album. My cell phone was already annoyed of playing the same songs all the time, but how not to do it, if the whole album is a jewel and I still listen to it today.

Con este álbum fue que me hice verdaderamente fanático de la banda. Recuerdo que me la pasaba en mi cuarto escuchando y escuchando por horas este álbum. Mi celular ya estaba fastidiado de reproducir a cada rato las mismas canciones, pero como no hacerlo, si todo el álbum es una joya y actualmente sigo escuchándolo.

Talking about the work, it really was an album that I painted very fast, I think it was because it's not a colorful cover. The whole album cover is in black and white, adding in orange the name of the album. I did it fast, since the album design is not realistic, it's like a pop-art design or something and I didn't struggle that much to finish it.

Hablando sobre el trabajo, realmente fue un disco que pinte muy rápido, creo que fue porque no es una portada con colores. Toda la portada del álbum es en blanco y negro, agregando en color naranja el nombre del mismo. Lo hice rápido, ya que el diseño del álbum no es realista, es como un diseño pop-art o algo así y no batalle tanto para terminarlo.

I recommend this album 1000%, it's great. If you like pop/rock, punk, rock, this is an excellent album.
