By reviewing posts by other artists in the community I begin to realize that my portraits need a little more work and also the way I present the posts, so with this post I want to try some new things especially in the I draw as I try to give this portrait another twist and not just copy the reference image.

I always start with a pencil sketch to be sure of the structure

I started giving color to the face and decided to also make the clothes since I wanted something very Japanese style and tried to let go of the line a lot

In this step I started with the hair, filling in strands and leaving some hair loose to give a very nice effect

Since I gave the portrait a Japanese look, in the end I complemented it with the Japan symbol, that red dot to give more strength to the portrait and that it would be much more beautiful and also edit the image to highlight the colors.
