Since it´s totally this season now, I´m reposting this artwork on HIVE (posted on Steemit in April of 2018) for my new followers. By the way - in the mean time I developed a green thumb and all my plants are alive :)
Da gerade genau diese Saison ist, reposte ich dieses Bild auf HIVE (wurde schon auf Steemit im April 2018 gezeigt) für meine neuen Follower. Übrigens - mittlerweile habe ich einen grünen Daumen entwickelt und alle meine Pflanzen sind am Leben :)
I don´t know why, but I always feel the urge to give mundane things a certain morbidity. Besides that, I'm a big fan of Tim Burton.
Ich weiß nicht warum, aber manchmaml verspüre ich den Drang, alltäglichen Dingen eine gewisse Morbidität zu verleihen. Außerdem bin ich ein großer Fan von Tim Burton.
Therefore, it is probably not surprising that from a dried bonsai (unfortunately I'm missing the green thumb) I wanted to create this small picture. And of course, I usually have some modelling dough left :)
Daher ist es wahrscheinlich nicht verwunderlich, dass aus einem vertrockneten Bonsai (leider fehlt mir der grüne Daumen) ein kleines Bild entsteht. Etwas Knete habe ich sowieso meistens übrig :)
In this case, I found it particularly difficult to commit myself to a style and I tried many different looks. The last version hangs as a small canvas in our living room.
In diesem Fall ist es mir besonders schwergefallen, mich auf einen Stil festzulegen und habe vieles ausprobiert. Die letzte Version hängt als kleine Leinwand in unserem Wohnzimmer.
