Hello everybody, I have been practicing portraits using a sanguine pencils for the last few days. Trying to get a little better at realism and to keep it as constant as possible as well. So many inspirating and interesting styles out there, let's try to eventually be part of them. The base is drawing, so to be able to reproduce "funky" stuff, I have to perfect some techniques.
I have to say that I really appreciate all the tips I got, putting more depth is one of them. It makes me also realise that you need to be quite confident to master that part : I am always a bit affraid that I will ruin the drawing by trying to go darker and darker. Good advices are to be followed, so I am still going to try more and more ! 😀
This portrait was made using a reddish sanguine pencil. Again, this was another great tip that I received, it came as a question and I looked up what a sanguina pencil was...works great and I love it 😀.
Here are some progress pics
I hope you guys like it, thanks for the view.
