I would like to share a drawing I made a while ago. It's a drawing of a Shelby Cobra, and the reason for posting it is because it is one of my favorite ones. I am very satisfied with the reflection and the contrast.
Contrast is one of the main things I focus on to get my drawings to pop out. It becomes more real and it gets a nice depth to the drawing. Many artists are afraid to really use the contrast from bright to dark when they start drawing. I did the same thing, but if you try to get it realistic you almost have to exaggerate.

It is one of my early drawings I made. Today I spend more time on the background because the image becomes more like a photo if you do. But on the other hand you focus more on the object if the background isn't as sharp.
