Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope you guys are great.
My today’s illustration doesn’t have any reason behind it. It’s just a chibi food illustration that I wanted to try and so here we are. My today’s illustration isn’t going to be much but it will be lengthy. Lengthy but not in words but for images. I like it how my illustrations speak more than I do. Don't you think that is funny and cool too? This illustration was done in ibispaint x. First I am going to start with the sketch as you guys can see below.
As you can see, it's a little lemon-mint and sparkle water party. Hehe!
Here to color the drink I used three colors. One is lime green color; another is a cream color and the last one is a white color. I don’t know if you guys can see it or not. I used the white color and cream colors to represent the form created by the carbonated water that is been poured into the glass. I used the ‘blurring marker 1’ tool to color the drink then I used the ‘smudge airbrush (normal)’ tool to blend in the colors.
Next, I colored the ice cubes in the drink. First I used the ‘airbrush (normal)’ tool to shade the outer part of the ice with a light grey color and then I used the ‘airbrush (particle L)’ tool to color the center part of the ice cube with white color.
Then come the lemon slices and the mint leaves. Here I didn’t do much just painted and shaded using the ‘airbrush (normal)’ tool.
Next is the chibi lemon-mint chan. Also here, there isn’t much here too.
Here I used the same method as I did for the mint lemonade drink but this time, instead of lime green it's light blue to represent the water.
The next part was the bottle, in here; I first colored the whole thing in one layer and then reduced its opacity. Then in another layer, I colored the tag and the bottle cap.
Here I color our chibi sparkly water chan. She is a mischievous one, isn’t she?
Last is the background, as you can see the lemon background and a little bubble. And that’s it for today. I guess my images are too big this time, the digital canvas paper size was bigger too and I guess here the image looks much larger than what it seems on my phone. Even while drawing I didn't think it would be so big. I hope you guys have enjoyed my today’s post and my illustration. For now, bye-bye.
