Hi, welcome to my new post, today I want to share with you a nice watercolor I did of an eagle.

Hola, bienvenidos a mi nuevo post, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una linda acuarela que realice de un águila.

The eagle is the extremely beautiful bird that also has a lethal force, that is why I chose this animal to make a watercolor painting (rectangle) since this bird alone with its presence transmits respect, which is what I wanted to represent in the painting.

El águila es un ave sumamente bella que también cuenta con una fuerza letal, es por ello que elegí a este animal para realizar un cuadro (rectángulo) de acuarela ya que esta ave solo con su presencia transmite respeto, que es lo que quise representar en la pintura.

As always try to use my basic watercolors and my 5 favorite brushes:

To make this portrait of the eagle, start by applying a light blue background with messy brushstrokes resembling a sky.

Para realizar este retrato del águila , inicie aplicando un fondo azul celeste con pinceladas desordenas semejando a un cielo.

Then apply the base colour of the plumage and beak.

Luego aplique el color base del plumaje y pico.

Then use the same base colour but with a little white to give a different shade to the lower feathers.

Seguidamente utilice el mismo color de base pero con un poco de blanco para dar un tono distinto a las plumas inferiores.

To give greater effect to the feathers, apply black and yellow tones to provide illumination and place the base of the eye.

Para dar mayor efecto a las plumas aplique tonos negros y amarillos para dar iluminación y coloque la base del ojo.

To give even more depth to the plumage I decided to use a little more black (not so diluted in water) to define the feathers, eye and beak.

Para dar aún más profundidad a el plumaje decidí utilizar un poco más de negro (no tan diluido en agua) para definir las plumas, ojo y pico.

Finish by applying an additional layer of diluted white to give reflections to the plumage and beak

Para finalizar aplique una capa adicional de blanco diluido para dar reflejos al plumaje y pico

I'll just put my "signature"
