My mom, who is a major fan of my art, thinks this series is therapeutic, at least for the artist. She believes it reflects the hidden horror of the current news agenda) Well, the truth is that I do read the news all the time, and that the news has rarely been optimistic recently. Some of my portraits are so gloomy that I do not show them to models. But I still find them somehow interesting and that’s why I am sharing these.
