Here are a few more abstract forms and material tests in Adobe Dimension.
This time I took a sphere in 3ds max and applied some edit poly filters to it along with a twist modifier to create this strange fruit looking shape. Later I imported it into Adobe dimension and applied different materials to the geometry. This example shows some metal materials with color gradients applied to them along with colorful environmental lighting to add color into the metal areas.
This is another material color test. This time I pointed the camera really close to the geometry to see the detail better. I can see these materials working well for a metallic car body paint color of some kind.
Here is the same geomtry multiplied a few times with many different materials applied to it. In the environment background I placed a custom made fractal from Jwildfire to help light up the scene. The more I look at these shapes they more they remind me of a strange fruit of some kind.
Here is a grayscale version with some light materials on the dotted areas. Later in photoshop I added a few layers of fractals.
Fortunately each rendering is exported as a psd file from Adobe Dimension. They add a few layers in the psd file that allows you to isolate areas of the rendering easily. There is a similar feature in Vray where you can activate exr filters for z-depth and geometry. This comes in handy when you want to play around with adjustment layers, much easier to use rather than masking things out by hand.
Thanks for viewing more renderings soon :-)
