Good afternoon! Finally I have finished this simple drawing as a thanks for Hive PH. Hive PH is a community Filipinos here on Hive. Weeks ago, I was ranked first for a member with most comments, something like that. And the reward for it was a Hive PH badge with your name on it. As a way of thanking Hive PH, I am dedicating this drawing to them. A girl with a Hive PH badge hairclip.
The girl in my drawing is supposedly a Filipina, though I'm not sure if I have drawn her with Filipina features. Black hair and tan skin. Check! Yellow eyes? Let's just assume she wore contact lens. 😂 I made it yellow color to match the yellow color of a bee and Hive PH's badge. In short, she's half Filipina and half bee. Just kidding! 😂
DRAWING PROCESS
I don't know why it took me a very long time to finish this drawing. I was having difficulty in drawing her lips. As you can see on the gif, her lips kept changing shapes. I wanted my character to look cute just like on my draft but the outcome turned out very different. Her eyes became bigger and her fringe became so thick and flat.
From cute to..uhmm.. fierce. Hehe!

She even originally have dangling earrings but I forgot about it and drew a pearl instead. Lol. And there was supposed to be a Philippine flag painting on her cheeks but I thought it would be redundant to draw it because the hairclip already have it. Anyway, I still like the outcome of my drawing. Sorry if her ear is too high and less detailed. I didn't look for a reference and just drew by imagination.
