So today before i take my leave for school, I just want to share a pencil drawing I did for someone, a birthday gift though it has been long around November this year ..
This drawing was made on a white pelican card with pencils majorly and a little bit of charcoal powder .. This work took me around 5days to complete...
The background was a mixture of charcoal powder and pencil...
Firstly I shade over with pencil they blend the pencil using tissue paper making sure it's all smooth then I can go ahead and apply the charcoal powder over the shaded part and blend it with brush, I use a set of makeup brushes with different sizes...
The pencil grade I used mostly on this work was 2b, 4b, 6b, 8b, and h.
The name of the product is STAEDTLER popularly know by pencil artist, it's a very good pencil.
My other materials include
-Kneadable eraser
-Electric eraser
-Mono zero eraser
-Charcoal pencil
-Paper stumps
-Sand paper
-Pencil sharpener
-Fixatives .
That's me trimming the edge of the paper for framing...I do framing myself .
This is the final look of the work...
I have applied a fixative in other to prolong and protect the work for a long duration..
I improvised a spray paint (transparent) as my own form of fixating my work...
