Good Day Lovers Arts and Humanities, 🤗
I was and I am still glad to have been able to attempt digital painting at this point in time and if I am being sincere, it kind of makes more easier for me to think of painting from time to time.
Different from yesterday's attempt, I decided to make the face appear more African in terms of my choice of colours in make the foundation of the painting. And I also included some interesting feature like the eyes which I didn't do on my attempt for yesterday.
PROOFS OF OWNERSHIP!
This is the freehand sketch I made to guide my painting using the pencil feature on the paperdraw application.
At this stage, I decided to use a very light tone of burnt Umber to block the face and lay a fine foundation for the painting.
So I added two more different tones of burnt umber to build up a sense of form and contrast in the painting. I did also played some colours and at the stage it was a light value of blue.
I also decided to spice up the painting by playing with more colours including green and then building up a sense of depths in the painting.
I quite love the outcome of the this very painting and I hope you do too.
