I just discovered that smudge painting is only good for super clear portraits that exposes the skin. Sketch is more appropriate for anything other than that. I didn't know I'd still know my way around after spending time doing it differently. I had though times while sketching the hair in fact starting from the shadow and the stress of reducing and increasing both the size and opacity.

It took me over 20hours to complete the sketch artwork. I think maybe because its first attempt
As time goes on, it will get better.
