The monsters I use to create new characters are LIRA THE DARK and IZA THE FANGED. The reason I used these 2 characters is that before I wanted to make fanart of each of them but failed (either from character design or from myself). The sample pose I used, I took it from PIXABAY.
I started by sketching first. Although in the example pose, the character is holding a glass. But I didn't describe it because I felt "unsuitable" for the character I was going to make. Don't forget to also try to color the sketch to make sure what color matches the character.
After I felt the color matched, I started to make Lineart using the same brush tool as when I sketched. When adding color and shading, you will know which parts are from IZA THE FANGED and from LIRA THE DARK.

For background, I searched PIXABAY with the keyword Night Forest and found a few that I thought fit. After deciding on a suitable background, I started placing my character on top of the background.
At this stage, I start "unifying the character with the background" by >> create a new layer >> change the mode to multiply >> lower the opacity >> get a color that matches the background
After the process was done, I merged all the layers and duplicated them. On the duplicate layer, I changed the mode to lighter.

Oops, I just remembered that I haven't drawn the tattoo on the face.
This section is just an addition so that my artwork looks cooler when viewed.

And here is the end result...

That was the process and result of the artwork that I entered in the 184th Week Splinterlands Art Contest, I hope you all like it.
Thank you also for visiting my post this time. See you in the next post.......
