I received a report that my email art was delivered to Spain today, so I will release it here as well.
The theme is "Easter Egg".

I'm not a Christian so I didn't know much about Easter, but I thought it would be fun to have a beautiful pattern on the egg so I applied. I drew a postcard with a black pen. Maybe I should have painted it, but I simplified it.
Even so, Easter is not so much as we make a big deal on Christmas and Halloween in Japan. Well, I don't know if it's a good thing to make noise, but ...
This time it is shipped on 3/12 and 4/4 arrived. The delay of international mail seems to continue.
So I drew a picture in the morning today and made a stamp in the afternoon. I bought an eraser, so I carved it with a cutter and a carving knife and made various stamps. I couldn't take a picture of it being made. In fact, I handle tools quite roughly, so if I get injured by imitating me, I won't be able to take pictures.
Below are photos of erasers and tools, carved stamps and stamped paper.
I made 8 stamps in total and it took 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I'm thinking of using the stamp for making mail art. I think we can make something interesting by combining techniques such as hand-drawing and collage.
So I am looking for email art! (There are some changes in April 3)

今日私のメールアートがスペインに届いたとの報告があったのでこちらにも公開します。
テーマは「イースター・エッグ」です。

私はクリスチャンではないのでイースターのことはよくわからなかったのですが、なんだか卵にきれいな模様が描いてあって楽しそうだなと思って応募してみました。はがきに黒ペン１本で描きました。本当は色を塗った方がよかったのかもしれませんが、シンプルにしました。
それにしても日本ではクリスマスやハロウィーンでは大騒ぎするのに、イースターはそれほどでもありませんね。まあ騒ぐことがいいことなのかどうかわかりませんが……。
今回は3/12に発送して、4/4到着のようです。まだまだ国際郵便の遅延は続きそうですね。
で、今日は午前中に絵を描いて、午後はスタンプ作りをしました。消しゴムを買ってあったので、それをカッターと彫刻刀で彫って、色々なスタンプを作りました。なお作っている様子は撮影できませんでした。というか、私はかなりラフに道具を扱っているので私の真似をしてケガをされたらたまりませんので撮影しません。

合計8個作って所要時間は1時間30分でした。
スタンプはメールアートの制作に使おうと思っています。手描きやコラージュなどと技法の組み合わせで面白いものができそうだなと思います。
