HI GUYS
So, today I decided to complete my process of digital painting by not just stopping at the monochrome, but also adding the colors. I used
some old tricks of doing my coloring, that's by creating a new layer, changing the blending mode to SOFT LIGHT, then paint on it. This trick allows for a subtle transition, before I can finally run my colors through with another layer.
If you've ever wondered how I create my realistic cartoonist artworks, this is how: Firstly, It's a long time of practicing realistic painting, but this is the trick, after I've finished the whole painting, I used eraser tool, to cut out some shapes to stylize it. It's easier, if you've a picture of what you want it to look like in your head.
I've still not gotten a whole of the background, still thinking of making it more dramatic. I'll share again, When I do something about it.
