An artist named Hive account@politeumico , who had been posting for years on Deviant Art, simply posted a single image on his account.

HiveWatchers thought the account might be a scammer and started downvoting his work. Downvoting strips the rewards from the account. The solution is to write a little text with each piece. You might examine his postings as they have good art. The text positively asserts ownership. This makes people feel more comfortable when they decide which posts to upvote.
