Today I was playing white agianst an opponent with slightly higher elo score.
It started very well for me, as I responded with the Alapin variation to his sicilian defense.
He started only developing pawns while I was bringing out my white square bishop to A4 and leading a good attack.
All went well 'till I left a knight hanging on f3.
As always I was thinking of attacking and totally forgot of his attack with his white squared bishop and his queen.
From there on I tried a little counter attack but he defended well, so the game was lost for me. 😬
