Intro
I am proud of myself, I played pretty well and finished 5th place with 22 points in the HiveChess Tournament yesterday.
My statistics were quite better than usual, my performance was 2085. Its not grandmaster level πΉ but you could say its an advanced player level ββ.
Also, players didn't seem to show up yesterday, they were probably quite busy.
I was keen on playing with my good friends and awesome players and
. I hope you don't miss the next round.
Here's how the final leaderboard looked:

Today's Game Highlights and Analysis
JUST_OLA VS TANGIBLE_AY
This was one of my best games yesterday, I won against a really good player (2000+ rating).
White beserked and opened with the Scandinavian Defense: Modern Variation.
Blunder at Move 20
White made a blunder at move 20 by moving to his rook to e8. I too made the bigger blunder by taking the rook at e8 instead of capturing whites Queen at b7.
Although, I was able to recover by moving my Queen to g4 and this made Checkmate unavoidable. White resigned and I won the round.

JUST_OLA VS LIGHTEYE
I played white and opened with the Sicilian defense.
What I could have done better...
First, my opponent(Black) might have been able to manage the situation better even if I had the upperhand by taking the knight at f6.
I won the game, yh. But a better move would have been knight to g8 which put Blacks king under a check and then move Queen to g5 would have secured a checkmate.
But instead a took a detour and won because of black running out of time, you can check the game link below to watch.

ODNOOBRAZ_BCM VS ENIOLW
I usually analyze wining games but I wanted to know how these two strong players met with a draw π€πΌ
I analyzed the game and saw that player Eniolw actually put up a good fight.
A lot of trade-off was done but white was able to take advantage on blacks inaccuracies and was cleverly maneuvering the board.
White would have won but ran out of time which led to a draw between these two strong players β
