I Got First Place in the Friday Hive Chess Tournament (Challengers)
Greeting Hiveans and Chess Community
Yesterday was round 5 of the Friday Hive Chess Tournament and it was chill. I finished with the First place ๐ฅ in the Challengers tournament.
This is the second time I am getting first place in the tournament for season 22 and I am pretty glad โจ
Yesterdays tournament started pretty interesting, I won most of my games but then I began to lose a few rounds. I got distracted mid-game by a family member. But I'm glad it still ended well.
I will review one of my games and then I will snoop into the masters tournament to see and review how it went. I binge read post on yesterdays tournament and it seems there was a interesting fight for the throne.

Game Highlights and In-Depth Analysis
Round Fixtures:
โ JUST_OLA VS AJEDREZCLUB2T
I and ajedrezclub2t played a round and it was pretty interesting. White opened with the Scandinavian Defense: Valencian Variation. Both players began to position their pieces for attack and defense. White was playing incredibly well but a certain blunder was made at move 21 that cost him his bishop. He didn't see that my queen was at b6 and that mistake put White at a disadvantage. White resigned before the timer ran out and Black won the round.

โ SAMOSTICALLY VS QUEEN5LAYER
has started again ๐ฅ. I decided to snoop into the masters tournament because I saw a gist going on in the comments section of the moderators post. samostically literally beserked his whole games and still got first place. The only match lost was the one with queen5layer so I decided to see what happened there. White beserked and opened with the Sicilian Defense: Closed. White's attack looked promising, but the turning point was Move 29.Nxg6, where White gave up a key knight without enough follow-through and allowed Black to get the advantage. White's king was too exposed and that already decided the fate in the game. White resigned and black won. It was intresting watching two great players move around the board โ๏ธ
