I was playing black and was taken aback when white sacrificed his bishop for my pawn at turn 4. While not strictly speaking a bright move, it enabled white to pressure exposed king with relentless attacks.
Later in a game white sacrifice another bishop, and black try to do the same.
When white queen takes black rook on move 18, it might seem like black are at a serious disadvantage, however it's just the opposite: the move leads directly and definitely to a white defeat.
