I am not sure I am surprised by my finish in 6th in the Saturday Hivechess Tournament. It has happened in the past so I am kind of used to it at this point. But what is something that is new for us I tried using my computer to play and it was not easy. I am not fast with the mouse and in a game I drew it because of slow response. Then there was the game against the IM which I actually won due to my impressive play.
I played a total of 10 games, with a 50% win rate and a 60% berserk rate. I didn't berserk much of my games since I was playing on my computer and I sensed that my mouse movement was not fast at all.
This was the game against the International master and I won. I was today a pawn but I had the activity and that what mattered in the game. I was all about whose pieces were more active and fortunately for me, it was my queen and rook. That got me roll in style. The combo between the black queen and the rook is one cannot be suppressed for long. Due to an inefficiency with his pieces at defending, I was able to get the attack on his king that led to a loss of the queen for him.

This was the game against iamchessguy and it was a win for him. He did well in this tournament, finishing in 3rd. The endgame was poor for me because of the way stayed passive at the final moment. I had some opportunities to exploit the position but not enough time to think it through. I berserked this game for a faster win, unfortunately for me it backfired for me. It was quite impressive for my opponent to stay solid all through the game, down to the point when i blundered and he got the win. Nothing prepared for the fact that you need more time when playing positions that do not require nothing much to do. That's is the hardest ones because a single slip in the position could cost you the entire game.

A huge congratulations to the winners of this round. It is lovely to see others are contesting for the top spot every round and I can say my chess has been improving since I have been playing the tournament. Who would have thought I would be defeating an International master when I started.
