Dear Chess fans,
in the 5th round of Season 6 we were 15 players. 
Hive account@sawkito - hardly surprising - won again with quite a margin. Behind him were the usual 
Hive account@vjap55 this time as runner up, 
Hive account@yazp (zulukill) as third and 
Hive account@jaki01 as fourth. I landed after 
Hive account@pereu4ivatel (pereu4uwatch) only on the sixth spot, despite I played much better than in previous rounds and had a performance of 2256 (I even could beat Hive account@jaki01 what rather rarely happens). Maybe because I stopped playing Benoni with the Black pieces (which is fine against weaker players, but definitely an inferior opening in this strong field). But I had again the "luck" of an average opponent rating of 2073, the highest of all players.
Of note, 
Hive account@maciejficek (XM9000), spurred by the completion of his master thesis, could gain a 7th rank amidst all the 2000+ players. Congratulations to him as well!

Hive account@eniolw missing today, Hive account@jaki01 could overtake him and is now second again. But the gap to the leading Hive account@sawkito is large and only 2 rounds to go!
