Dear chess fans,
yesterday round 6 of S22 was played, and again in the Masters there were very little players (5 only, actually it would have been 4 if I had applied the rules (min. 5 games played) strictly). Therefore I have decided to combine both groups next time and to have one single tournament for the remaining 4 rounds.
At least in the Challengers there was action and a decent amount of players (13), with an average rating of 1529. Welcome back,

Of note, some players had been given up to 3 bonus points for participating in the fun tournaments (first, second) and the Hivepredict bet on the Candidates tournament!

You may have heard that Argentinian chess player Faustino Oro finally has become a GM after a 6/9 performance at the Sardinia World Chess Festival.
