Since my sons started online classes I noticed they have watched more Simpsons episodes than I ever knew existed. They have assignments in art class and math and language but every time I turn my back I hear that mystical theme music and the words,
"The Simpsons".
Even our walks have been taken over by Simpsons questions. "Dad what happened to Ned Flanders's wife? Where does Fat Tony live? Was the Simpsons based on Springfield Illinois? Even the Simpsons have a dog. Can we have a dog?"
That's where I drew the line. I told them, "That's it. No more Simpsons."
"Make it no more TV until you actually finish all of your online assignments."
They were fine with that and the next day they actually started on their assignments.
