We welcome five newbies on Hive today and that's fun.
A few days ago I thought about where I can go for hive marketing and meet some really interesting people, so I thought about Universities so I started thinking which of university I would visit and Lagos State University Ojo came to my mind.
I went ahead and printed more fliers to make our work easier for us, then picked a date to go and meet the student, Mondays are the best day to go for marketing at schools because almost every student will be at the school premises.
I woke up in the morning, had my bath, and got dressed on my Hive-branded shirt, I took a bus and headed forth to the University of Lagos.
This Campus is located at Badagry Expressway Lagos State. and its far from where I live so had to make a brief tour to the school.
On getting there they were having their matriculation today and everywhere was so busy, I was sad thinking I won't get anyone to talk to and onboard, but with extra I was able to get five people onboarded.
Onboarding and Mentorship process
Onboarding and Mentorship took me close to three hours because before onboarding I had to get them to understand what is Hive, the guidelines and rules on Hive, the importance of consistency, the importance of making out time to read more on hive, the importance of creating original content, No AI, ChatGPT and etc.
They had questions upon questions and I kept giving them answers, finally I got them onboarded through Hive keychain, I paid three hive for each account through my wallet and used the 
They downloaded ecency app and they were thought how to start creating short content on #ecency immediately and they really loved it.
They also got to learn how to upload profile pictures and set up their account tho it failed due to network issues I guess..

Just after onboarding and mentoring them, in search of other students it started to rain and we couldn't continue, we left and promised to return next week Monday with the motive of onboarding more students and give more training on how to create long content to the newbies that came on board today.
It was late in the evening, so it was time to find my way back home.
