The crypto market is dipping and there are lots of uncertainty - perhaps a little panicky for some. Isn't it time to power down and save the pieces? Nay!!!! We are building and growing with the freedom blockchain. I just staked more 18 Hive to hit this 13k milestone. For me, the addition of 1k HP in each of the past few months is just so significant. Below are the most recent timeline of that growth:
- 4 new customers join Hive - plus 12k HP milestone!
- 100 Hive powered up - surpassing 11k HP
- Celebrating a milestone - officially now a dolphin!
Hub schedule and onboarding
I am still making the final arrangement for our Aba hive hub. Right now, I have created a schedule to make our Hive onboarding and marketing activities standard. Having a fixed schedule gives newbies a structure to work with, given they also have things to do with their time. We will have 2 major workshops per week as follows.
- Mondays and Saturdays - (10 AM - 1.30pm)
Depending on the number of persons available for workshop, we might fix additional workshop midweek for them. But for now, the two standard days are the ones above.
We are kicking off our very first workshop this Monday 17 November, 2025.
There are a few other arrangements and preparations having at the background to ensure we have a smooth-running Hive hub at Aba. Fliers have been prepared already and I am putting final finishing touches on digital marketing. Right now, the main marketing method is physical with some groups and association's in mind to collaborate with. Once the digital marketing strategies are finalized, I will make them public.
This week though, I have also been busy with a few onboarding and mentorship. At least 3 new friends joined us. They are still exploring Waves and getting ready to complete beginner courses. Meet two of the new friends
Next Hive meetup
We will not miss probably the last Hive meetup for the year. The date would be on Monday 24 November 2025. Venue remains our Hive hub at Happy Customer Supermarket, 208 Azikiwe road Aba.
All Hive users in Aba both old and new members are invited to join this event. It would be a great time to meet and network. Growth best happens as a community. Before the meetup date, discussion points would be made available to all
Hive hardfork - opportunities for more growth?
While there remain lots of uncertainties in the crypto market, we are here for the long term on Hive. You have probably heard about the upcoming hardfork (Blockchain upgrade) that would happen on 19th November, right? Hardforks don't happen all the time. But whenever there is one, big positive changes happen. This particular hardfork has created lots of buzz and we hope to enjoy a better freedom Blockchain afterwards.
We are here for growth. Personally I will keep on building on Hive and promoting this digital revolution to bring more people and value into the space. We can always do something to make here grow more. Lets do all we can and the Hive of our dreams would materialize sooner or later!!!
