私は写真を撮るのがあまり上手くないので、いつもは1枚だけなのですが今日は奮発して2枚載せます。2枚とも眼科へ行く途中の風景です。
今日は眼科の通院日でした。9時頃眼科に着いてみて待合室の人の多さにびっくりしました。20人くらい、いました。そしたら昨日が休日であったことを思い出しました。休日明けはだいたい患者さんが多いものです。
しばらく待ったら名前を呼ばれて、いつもの通り眼圧検査、視力検査、眼の奥の写真撮影をしました。そしてまた待ちました。
待っている間にもどんどん患者さんが来てなんとなく待合室がざわざわしてきて落ち着きませんでした。
そして10時頃やっと診察。いつも通りの診察で終わるかなと思ったら先生がこうおっしゃいました。「あなたね、今日ちょっと眼圧が高いから、来月眼圧の検査だけ受けに来て」思わず「えーっ」と叫んでしまいました。そして11月の診察と、来年1月の視野検査の予約をして、点眼薬をもらって帰りました。
んもう、病院ばっかり、しんどいわ。

I am not a very good photographer, so I usually take only one picture, but today I am going to take two.
When I arrived at the ophthalmologist's office around 9:00 a.m., I was surprised to see how many people were in the waiting room. Then I remembered that yesterday was a holiday. After a holiday, there are usually many patients.
After waiting for a while, my name was called, and as usual, I had an intraocular pressure test, a vision test, and a photo taken of the back of my eye. Then I waited again.
While I was waiting, more and more patients came in, and the waiting room became somewhat crowded, making me uncomfortable.
Finally, around 10:00 a.m., I was examined. I thought the examination would end as usual, but the doctor said, "You know, you have a little bit of intraocular pressure today. You know, your intraocular pressure is a little high today, so come back next month just for an IOP checkup," I exclaimed unintentionally. I made an appointment for a checkup in November and a visual field test in January next year, got some eye drops, and left.
All these hospitals, it's so tiring.
